Shade selection and consultation
Every full-head highlight begins with a personalized consultation where Pamela assesses your natural color, previous dye history, and hair condition. She uses that information to choose shades that add depth and dimension while aiming for a natural, radiant finish. Clients who bring photos and discuss lifestyle needs get a more tailored plan.
Consultations also weigh practical trade-offs: brighter or lighter highlights create more contrast but need more upkeep; softer tones require less frequent toning. Pamela factors in gray coverage, existing box color, and how much maintenance you want before recommending a shade range that suits your skin tone and daily routine.
What happens during service
A Highlights Full head appointment runs 90 minutes and is priced at $185. Expect a full consultation, the highlight application, processing time, and finishing steps. Depending on hair condition, Pamela may include a conditioning or repair treatment as part of the session to improve texture and manageability after color work.
During the service, the focus is on creating even placement and tonal balance so the result looks vibrant yet natural. Clients consistently report improved color vibrancy and a boost in confidence after the appointment—outcomes Pamela seeks by listening closely and adjusting placement and tone to each individual's hair.
Maintenance and local factors
Highlights require ongoing care to stay looking fresh: color-safe shampoo, periodic toning, and conditioning treatments help reduce brassiness and maintain shine. Las Vegas’s desert climate — hot sun and low humidity — can dry colored hair faster, so Pamela recommends targeted moisturizing and UV protection strategies to reduce color fade and dryness.
Plan timing around seasonal demand: May, June, July and December are busiest for highlights due to summer looks and holiday events. Pamela’s Silverado Ranch / Southern Highlands location has easy access from I-215 and is convenient for clients coming from Henderson, Enterprise, and nearby resort corridors who need pre-event or pre-flight appointments.
